PSX is a PlayStation emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux, most games run perfectly.

Important: The emulator requires a PS1 BIOS file which should be placed in the bios directory. By default the emulator will look for scph1001.bin

PSX Emulator Features:

  • Emulate Playstation 1 games
  • Load games from various CD image formats
  • Emulate the classic (digital) PlayStation controller
  • Emulate the Namco GunCon peripheral
  • On-the-fly PPF patching via command line

  • Debugger DMA capture buffer now autoresizes
  • Fixed bug when setting sound frequency
  • Fixed debugger crash when emulator is reading from CD
  • Removed SSE instructions used during init
